The man is linked to a kidnapping that occurred on February 3, 2017, in a commercial parking lot in the district of David, Chiriquí province. During the incident, several individuals kidnapped a businessman and demanded a considerable sum of money in exchange for his release. Following an investigation, authorities identified one of the alleged suspects, who managed to leave the country before being apprehended.
