This morning, in the presence of the President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, executives of the National Company of Highways (ENA) and several state ministers, Ramp C of the Hipódromo Interchange was inaugurated—a key project within the South Corridor Expansion Project.
During the inauguration, Yessica Goti, General Manager of ENA, highlighted the impact of the infrastructure on improving the quality of life for users.
“This new ramp represents a significant advance in the connectivity of the metropolitan area, improving the quality of life for thousands of residents and users from sectors such as Juan Díaz, Parque Lefevre, Costa del Este, and Chanis,” stated Goti.
Ramp C, located at the Hipódromo Interchange, is part of the South Corridor Expansion Project, which also included joint sealing, drainage construction, signage, and the installation of metal guardrails to guarantee the safety and functionality of the road.
“The expansion of the Costa del Este and Hipódromo interchanges not only responds to an infrastructure need, but it is also a smart, simple, and fast project that improves access and reduces travel times for thousands of people,” affirmed Goti.
Additionally, the General Manager announced that in the coming months, three new ramps will be delivered, with the goal of continuing to optimize the vehicular flow in this strategic area.
For his part, the Minister of Public Works, José Luis Andrade, highlighted the importance of the project for road connectivity in the metropolitan area.
