CAF calls on exporters from Latin America for its Business Roundtable in Panama. Global market leaders are seeking to establish business ties with regional exporters during the event, which will take place on January 29 and 30, 2026, at the Panama Convention Center.
Buyer Profile and Business Opportunities
The buying companies come from strategic nations across various geographies, including Germany, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, the United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and the Dominican Republic.
Over 200 international buyers have already registered for the Business Roundtable in Panama
Organized by CAF, the January 2026 business summit at the Panama Convention Center aims to forge commercial alliances in key sectors such as agribusiness, textiles, software, and manufacturing. Their interest is focused on supplying key sectors for the regional economy, such as agribusiness, textiles and apparel, chemicals, manufacturing, cosmetics, software, and construction materials.
It is estimated that the event will facilitate over 4,000 one-on-one business meetings between buyers and nearly 300 exporting companies from Latin America and the Caribbean. This concentrated format allows exporters to meet with buyers from over 15 countries in a single trip.
Strategic Integration with the International Economic Forum
The business meeting will be held in conjunction with the International Economic Forum Latin America and the Caribbean 2026. This forum will bring together more than 2,500 business leaders, investors, and government officials to position the region in the global geopolitical landscape.
According to statements from Sergio Díaz-Granados, Executive President of CAF, the Business Roundtable represents «a concrete opportunity for entrepreneurs […] to establish business and commercial alliances with buyers who are actively seeking products and services from our region in strategic sectors such as agribusiness, manufacturing, and technology».
Registration and Logistics
Registration and participation in the Business Roundtable are free of charge for all entrepreneurs from Latin America and the Caribbean. The organization plans to carry out professional matchmaking between supply and demand to optimize the meeting schedule and ensure follow-up on the opportunities generated.
Each participating entrepreneur can schedule between 16 and 28 business meetings in a day and a half, which is equivalent to a volume of commercial prospecting that would individually take more than two weeks.
