Four Key Events and Strategic Venues EmergingTech Week is not a single event, but four specialized events that will address different aspects of emerging technologies, from user-level use to adoption in institutional and business environments.
The four main events are: • Bitcoin Day • RWA (Real-World-Assets) Day: Specifically dedicated to the tokenization of real-world assets. • ETH Canal • The Block
Each event will include technical aspects, applications in industrial and commercial environments, and an exclusive commercial area for sector companies.
The event will take place from April 9 to 16, 2026, and aims to consolidate Panama's position as a technological, financial, and commercial hub for Latin America. During the week, Panama will bring together over 2,000 experts, technology leaders, companies, entrepreneurs, and institutions.
Rodrigo Icaza, president of the Digital Commerce and Blockchain Chamber and spokesperson for the Week, stated that the initiative shows how industry players in Panama work cohesively to offer a unique experience that will positively impact the country's brand.
Activities will be held at three strategic venues: the Hotel Santa María, the Panama Convention Center, and La Manzana de Casco Antiguo, sites considered ideal for networking, conferences, workshops, and business development dynamics.
Panama's Technological Ecosystem in Figures The event is supported by a robust local ecosystem where the annual volume of cryptocurrency transactions in Panama exceeds one billion dollars, according to data from specialized consulting firms.
Additionally, the country has consolidated more than 10 communities focused on Blockchain, Bitcoin, or cryptoassets, dedicated to promotion and education, with over 1,600 active members.
