The General Scholarship Contest 2026 is also opening, an opportunity for those who work hard in school. The academic requirements are clear: Primary, middle, and high school: a minimum average of 4.5. First-time university students: a minimum average of 4.5. Continuing a degree: a minimum index of 2.0. Postgraduate and master's degrees: a minimum index of 2.0 in the previous bachelor's degree. And yes, foreign students can also participate, as long as they prove they have been living in Panama for 10 years or more. With these actions, IFARHU seeks to ensure that no student is left behind due to lack of resources.
