Nestlé Professional Launches Youth Programs in Panama

Nestlé Professional has launched a new phase of its flagship programs YOCUTA (Young Culinary Talents) and Nestlé Young Baristas in Panama. For the 2026 cycle, the goal is to incorporate 1,350 new talents, providing them with technical tools to facilitate their entry into the job market or to boost their own ventures in the culinary and coffee sectors. Susana de Freitas, Director of Nestlé Professional Central America, highlighted that the future of the sector lies in young talent. This initiative, part of the Nestlé Youth Initiative, aims to empower the development of new generations through shared value creation, uniting both disciplines for a 360-degree view of the hospitality industry in the Central American region. In Panama, the program is being implemented in partnership with the Inter-American University of Panama (UIP), the Specialized Higher Technical Institute (ITSE), and The Panama International Hotel School. The training schedule in Panama began this March and will run until July, culminating in the participants' graduation in August 2026.
