Panama City Introduces Digital QR Code Access for Skating Rink

The Municipality of Panama has launched a digital QR code registration system for the skating rink to eliminate queues and streamline entry. This modernization effort is part of the city's broader digitalization initiative.

The Municipality of Panama announced the implementation of a digital registration system via QR code for access to the skating rink located at the Mirador Pacífico viewpoint on the Cinta Costera.

Through this digital process, the Municipality of Panama ensures that people arrive in order, without long waits, and enjoy a faster and more efficient access.

Upon correctly entering the data, the system generates a personal QR code, sent to the user's email, which can also be added to the phone's digital wallet.

This QR code serves as the entry pass and will be verified at the checkpoint.

This initiative is part of the modernization and digitalization efforts driven by the municipal administration of Mayor Mayer Mizrachi to offer more agile, secure, and citizen-needs-oriented services.

This innovation aims to modernize the management of municipal events, improve the visitor experience, and ensure an orderly flow of people without queues or crowds.

Users must complete a simple form with their name, email, and ID number.

Via the pasarela.mupa.gob.pa platform, users can reserve their spot for free by selecting the "Skating Rink" event.
