Panama Opens Enrollment for City of the Arts Courses

This summer, art is not just something to look at; it is to be studied, worked on, and lived. The Ministry of Culture has opened enrollment for those who want to seriously pursue art at the City of the Arts. Courses will run from January 12 to February 11, with morning, afternoon, and evening schedules to accommodate everyone. The program is extensive: in Fine Arts, it ranges from drawing and painting to clay modeling, art history, and art therapy. Technological Arts are also a key component, offering photography, graphic design, fashion, and video editing, connecting art with the professional world. Dance is fully represented with ballet, urban, Afro, hip-hop, Latin rhythms, contemporary, and flamenco. Music courses provide initiation and advanced training in various instruments, while theater offers complete training in acting for film and series, improvisation, playwriting, dubbing, and stage makeup. Folklore has its dedicated place, featuring singing, traditional dances, and more. Multidisciplinary courses round out the offerings with digital literacy, event production, and digital marketing. This summer will be about more than just sun and rest.
