In Panama, an InDrive driver was killed after being attacked by individuals posing as passengers. The incident occurred yesterday after midnight. The 23-year-old driver, Carlos A. Cáceres, was traveling from the Panama district to San Miguelito. In the La Palmita area, he was shot at point-blank range. Bullets hit him in the head and right shoulder. As the driver lost consciousness, he lost control of the car. The vehicle overturned and crashed into a house. Residents of the area called the emergency number #911. Paramedics arrived at the scene, and once Cáceres was freed from the wreckage of the automobile, he was transported to the hospital, where he unfortunately died. It was reported that initially the case was being handled as a traffic accident, but during treatment at the hospital, the medical staff who attended to Cáceres noticed that he had three bullet impacts, so the case was registered as a homicide. The motive being considered is a possible armed robbery, as it is presumed that Cáceres resisted and was killed.
