The first edition of a cultural platform designed with criteria for safety and education for childhood in Panama has been launched. The 'Nación Kids' festival, held at Omar Park, brought together thousands of families for artistic, technological, and sports activities. According to the organizers, the festival generated over 200 direct and indirect jobs, involving a large team of artists, technicians, logistics staff, educators, and security personnel. Over two consecutive days, more than 6,000 people enjoyed a comprehensive program that combined music, educational workshops, sports, and cutting-edge technological experiences in a safe and natural environment. In the evening, the festive atmosphere was led by Late Night Music, transforming a section of the park into a dance floor with DJs such as Keene, Lil Lina, George Olmos, Jota Ortiz, and Buen Afro. The artistic offering featured figures like storyteller Poli Cuentacuentos and the puppet show of Avenida Nacional. The stage also showcased the talent of Music Lab students, the performance of young artist Summer, and the choreography of Las Huntrix, 'Warriors of K-pop,' who captured the attention of children and teenagers. In the educational sphere, the robotics workshop was one of the most in-demand spaces, with over 100 participants per session exploring technological construction and programming. The area of visual arts, guided by artist Laura Otero, allowed more than 90 children to experiment with acrylic paint, fostering scientific curiosity and creative expression. Sports and outdoor entertainment took center stage thanks to the Golden Harpies football academy, which organized mini-tournaments by category.
