Panama boasts extraordinary natural resources, national parks, and over 100 protected areas that are not sufficiently valued, according to the Minister of the Environment. To address this, the exhibition "Our Protected Areas" has been launched at Tocumen International Airport to promote environmental awareness and conservation. The exhibition, held in Terminal 2, features audiovisual materials and informational panels offering a visual tour of Panama's biodiversity. Organized by the Ministry of the Environment, Fundación Albatros Media, and Tocumen S.A., the initiative aims to inspire both Panamanians and travelers to care for the natural environment. Minister Juan Carlos Navarro stated that this exhibition is a "win-win" for the economy, development, and tourism. The display will be open to the public until May 8th. It is also part of a larger initiative that includes six documentaries to be shown on Copa Airlines flights and the creation of four visitor centers in protected areas.
