The raid on the residence where 'Chebo' was hiding was carried out by the National Police of Don Bosco and personnel from the Public Ministry. During the operation, another individual was also arrested, who had been out of prison for six months after serving a sentence for homicide. Additionally, authorities located and seized inside the property 3 firearms (including an M4 rifle and 2 pistols), a certain amount of a drug known as 'crispi', numerous cartridges, two rifle magazines, two pistol magazines, four cell phones, and some binoculars. Upon completion of the operation, both the apprehended individuals and the evidence were handed over to the relevant authorities for the corresponding legal proceedings. Caicedo had been wanted since December 3, 2024, for the homicide of Bladimir Alberto Herrera Cantoral, committed on November 25 of the same year, in sector 78 of Rana de Oro, Pedregal—the very place where he was apprehended today.
