The working methodology fostered a dynamic dialogue, allowing the International Maritime University of Panama to actively contribute to the planning of academic, cultural, and sporting activities that promote sustainable development and university cooperation in Central America and the Caribbean.UMIP represented Panama at the LV Ordinary Session of the Regional Council of Student Life (CONREVE) held in Honduras. The event was attended by the Director of Student Welfare, Professor Víctor Hernández, and Senior Brigadier Sebastián Chang 2026. Among the priority topics were the promotion of university volunteering, preparations for the Central American Interuniversity Festival of Culture and Art (FICCUA), and the planning of regional meetings for 2026. Also addressed were the regulations of the regional student life system, and the election of the Second Vocal of the CONREVE Executive Committee took place.
