In Panama, as part of the 'Criba' operation, a father, a brother, a woman, and a family friend of victims of crimes against freedom and sexual integrity were apprehended. The operation took place in the eastern and northern sectors of the Panama district. Among those apprehended by the National Police and the Public Ministry are a 20-year-old man, another of 21, another of 22, and a 42-year-old woman, who are being linked to facts of aggravated rape, sexual relations with minors, and corruption of minors. During the operation, carried out specifically in the corregimientos of Las Garzas, Caimitillo, Alcalde Díaz, and Chilibre, authorities also located technological equipment that may be related to the investigations. At the end of the operation, the four suspects were left at the disposal of the Metropolitan Prosecutor's Office and will be presented before a guarantees judge in the coming hours for the judicial processing of their cases.
