The World Boxing Association (WBA) super flyweight world champion, Panamanian Nataly Delgado, is ready for her first title defense next Saturday, December 6th, in Santiago de Veraguas.

This event will be the first time a world boxing championship is held in a city outside the capital. The event is organized by the Santiago Municipality, led by Eric Jaén, and the High Level Boxing company, run by promoter Roberto Mora, which is in charge of the event's production.

Nataly Delgado's trainer, Julio César Archibold, reported that her preparation for this title fight is complete, and now she just needs to maintain her weight and condition.

The title defense, to be held at the Salón Villa Magna in the Gran David Hotel in Santiago, will be against Venezuelan Yoselin Fernández in a 10-round bout. "Nataly has finished her hard work, completed her sparring sessions, and now all that's left is to maintain her weight and condition," Archibold informed.

The world champion is expected to travel to Santiago in the coming days to settle in and prepare for her title defense.

In addition to the main event, the card will feature five other fights. A highlight will be the bout of the undefeated Veraguan prospect Maximiliano Bonilla, who will face Colombian-based-in-Panama Jhoyner Cervera in an 8-round fight at 126 pounds. Ronal 'El Gallito' Batista will face Leroy 'El Sensacional' Estrada in an 8-round fight at 115 pounds.
