Panama-David Train in Pre-Investment Phase and Seeking Personnel

The National Railway Secretariat of Panama has announced that it is accepting applications for various positions related to the Panama-David-Border railway project. While the project is in its pre-investment phase, the secretariat is already receiving a high volume of inquiries about future job openings. Interested individuals can participate in this national infrastructure initiative by submitting their resumes. To apply, candidates must bring their updated CVs to a government office and request assistance from an agent to ensure the document is sent to the secretariat's correct email address. The railway project is planned to extend westward across the country to the province of Chiriquí and the border with Costa Rica. The project will feature an approximate route of 475 kilometers with about 14 passenger stations. The system will operate in two modes: a passenger train reaching speeds of up to 180 km/h and a freight train with a maximum speed of 100 km/h. The first phase involves constructing 200 kilometers of track to Divisa, along with ongoing socioeconomic studies in the areas influenced by the train route.
