The district of San Miguelito, in the capital city, remains on alert, as less than 24 hours had passed since the most recent crime when another violent incident was reported last night.

In this case, the victim was identified as José Luis Pacheco Caballero (26 years old), who died at approximately 11:35 p.m. on Monday before reaching the Torrijos Carter Health Center. The young man came from the Enrique Plata sector, located in Torrijos Carter, in the Belisario Frías district, where, according to witnesses, he was riddled with bullets by unknown individuals traveling in a white sedan.

The doctor who treated the case could do nothing for the young man but determine that he showed no vital signs.

During the preliminary body review, it was determined that José Luis had multiple bullet impacts: in the mouth (1), head (1), chest (1), and armpit (1) on the left side of his body; while on the right side, the bullets entered through the buttock (1), thigh (2), and leg (2).

Following the crime, Linces units managed to locate a white sedan in sector #42 of Santa Marta that matched the witnesses' description. Inside the vehicle were three men, who were apprehended as suspects in the crime.

Regarding Pacheco's criminal record, it was learned that several warrants had been issued for his arrest between 2021 and 2023, although the specific crimes were not disclosed. Additionally, he was arrested in 2022 and 2023, in one case for drug possession.

Just on Sunday night, Emmanuel Abdiel Vargas Foster (25 years old) and Cesar Santo Cuesta Núñez, alias Mama Loso (30 years old), died at the San Miguel Arcángel Hospital. Vargas was from El Hueco de Sinaní, located in sector #5 of Samaria, while Cuesta was mortally shot while he was in sector #42 of El Chumico, in Santa Marta, San Miguelito district, also by individuals in a vehicle.
