Starting at 4:00 a.m., thousands of people arrived at the Naviferias, and the line practically disappeared thanks to good organization, stated the director of the Agricultural Marketing Institute, Nilo Murillo.
The Naviferias were held simultaneously at several points in the provinces of Chiriquí, Los Santos, and Herrera, specifically in Renacimiento, Barú, La Arena Monagrillo, Chitré, Las Tablas, and Guararé, serving over 3,000 people in record time.
Murillo highlighted that the QR system has been key to preventing repeated purchases and maintaining precise inventory control.
"This allows us to serve everyone without running out of products and ensures that the Christmas food box reaches those who truly need it," he added.
The director reminded that the Naviferias are exclusively for the Christmas food box, and that stores will remain open throughout December, adjusting quantities according to demand and annual service statistics.
According to Murillo, the team's coordination was so efficient that in just an hour and a half, they managed to serve everyone without any issues.
