Early Saturday morning, Sergeant Second Class Moisés A. Castillo, a member of the National Border Service (SENAFRONT), died in a traffic accident at the entrance to Panama Pacific (Howard) in West Panama. According to preliminary reports, the victim was on his way to perform his professional duties. The Public Ministry arrived at the scene to carry out the body recovery process and determine the causes of the accident.

«With deep regret, the National Border Service (SENAFRONT) informs the country about the death of Sergeant Second Class Moisés A. Castillo, who lost his life in a traffic accident in the early hours of the morning at the entrance to Panama Pacific (Howard),» stated SENAFRONT in its press release.

In addition, it sent condolences to the victim's family.

«The border family expresses its most sincere condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues, due to the physical disappearance of a unit who left his mark within the institution,» the statement added.
