In Panama, a conflict between neighbors over a land dispute escalated into a heated brawl, during which a police patrol was stoned this Tuesday in La Paz de Agua Bendita, a district of Chilibre in North Panama. Unofficially, it was reported that stones were thrown during the argument over the land, and during the incident, one of the units that intervened to quell the altercation was hit by one of them. It was confirmed that as a result of this incident, two people were detained and will be referred to the Chilibre Peace House to resolve the conflict. Meanwhile, the affected police officer was transferred to the Buenos Aires health center and then to a hospital to receive medical attention.
