Authorities recorded 2,653 violations, mostly for speeding, ignored signals, and accidents. 61 drivers tested positive for alcohol and 45 for alcohol breath. So far, no serious incidents have marred the festivities. A strong presence was felt on streets, beaches, and roads, with patrols on duty since early morning. During the operation, 530 people were apprehended for various reasons: violations, crimes, and situations that got out of hand. There were 97 procedures: 19 for arrest warrants, 25 for detention orders, 9 for brawls, 6 for criminal substitution, and 4 for disturbing the peace.
