17-Year-Old Youth Murdered in Curundú

A 17-year-old young man was killed last Friday night on the main road in the Corregimiento of Curundú, near the health center. The victim was identified as Jeison Sanapi Chocho. According to police reports, the deceased suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his anatomy, caused by unknown, unapprehended individuals who fired from a moving vehicle. He was subsequently transferred to the emergency room of Santo Tomás Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. According to authorities, the motive for the incident is unknown.
