A 65-year-old man died after 7 p.m. on Friday, April 10, in the La Reforma area, opposite the Jehovah's Witnesses church, following a traffic incident in El Valle de Antón. According to police reports, the victim was identified as Manuel Rodríguez Sánchez. A phone call alerted the authorities to the incident; upon arriving at the scene, Rodríguez Sánchez was found lying on the pavement next to a white pickup truck. Immediately, authorities took the man to the El Valle Health Center, where on-duty doctors confirmed his death. It was learned that the vehicle's driver was a resident of La Pintada, in El Valle.
