Panama - The body of a man who allegedly died of electrocution was found this Monday morning, meters from the Inter-American highway and near the entrance to the Santa Rita district, in the Anton district, in the province of Coclé. The tragedy occurred near high-voltage transformers, so authorities are investigating what the man was doing at that location. Residents in the area reported a power outage, leading to the assumption that it was at that precise moment that the victim received the electric shock. Personnel from the electricity company arrived at the scene to inspect the equipment and ensure the area was safe for the entry of Public Ministry staff, who were responsible for the procedure of recovering the body.
