A two-year-old girl arrived without vital signs at a health center in Caimito. The girl's father, a 26-year-old man, reported that in the afternoon he took the minor to the Minsa Capsi in Caimito because for days she had been suffering from a severe cold. On the night of February 14, the little girl was declared dead in the Los Algarrobos area, El Carrasco, near the local church. A doctor on duty determined that she had no vital signs. The case is being handled by police units, who notified the Personería de Dolega, as well as the Child and Adolescence department. Authorities have initiated proceedings to clarify what happened and determine the exact causes of death. The community was left in shock.
