Three die in Panama boat accident

Three people died in the incident: 23-year-old Venezuelan Greiliana Paola Harena Martínez, another Venezuelan woman, and a Colombian man. Harena had left Venezuela two years ago to work in Mexico and was returning to South America. All three fell into the water when the boat capsized and became trapped underneath. They drowned within minutes, despite wearing life jackets. The other two victims have not yet been officially identified, but it is known they were also heading to Colombia. Through social media, the young woman's acquaintances have started a campaign to raise funds to transport the body and give it a proper burial. The family says they do not have the resources to cover funeral expenses and international procedures. Meanwhile, the Panama Maritime Authority (AMP) has launched an investigation to determine if there was negligence or overloading of the vessel that led to the tragedy. A week after the shipwreck in Guna Yala, family members of one of the victims are asking for support to repatriate the remains to Bogotá.
