Cars full of families formed long queues heading to beaches and towns. Between Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning, authorities counted 52,162 vehicles. As of Sunday, February 15, a total of 107,234 vehicles had moved into the interior of the country, according to the Transit and Land Transport Authority. The flow of traffic continued on Sunday morning with active controls to prevent accidents. Authorities reiterated the call for prudence and reminded against speeding and drinking while driving.
