The Ministry of Health (Minsa), through the Comprehensive Office for Health Risk and Disaster Management, swore in the members of the Inter-institutional Commission for Resilient Public and Private Health Facilities in Health Emergencies and Disasters. This commission was created with the strategic objective of strengthening the security of health infrastructure and guaranteeing the protection of the population's life. Through this body, it is sought that both public and private centers have the capacity to resist, absorb, and recover efficiently from critical situations or natural disasters, ensuring the continuity of health services. The Vice Minister of Health, Manuel Zambrano Chang, swore in the members of this commission. 'We were appointed to contribute to the strengthening of the health system, ensuring that health establishments remain safe, functional, and operational before, during, and after an emergency or disaster,' stated the Vice Minister of Health. The Director of the Comprehensive Office for Health Risk and Disaster Management, Karen Holder, emphasized that the members of the commission assume the commitment to work with transparency and unity.
