In the face of political persecution, we have no choice but to fight for the ideal of a new Panama. It is necessary to fight for national refoundation, even if we are imprisoned, even if we are blinded. That is why we fight to defend human rights, for our parents and brothers, for our compatriots and all humanity. We shout NO STRUGGLE, NO VICTORY! Because we know it was an atrocious injustice. We do not tolerate inequities, violations of rights, or the lack of freedom imposed on us.
We reject the apolitical politicians and the injustice we suffer. We want to know the truth about the disappeared, about those who died defending their rights. We demand equality in property, education that shapes human beings, and not just workers. We demand fair prices for food and medicine, and a system that does not enslave us for a lifetime. We reject the misery that the bourgeoisie tries to impose, as well as their false concepts of meritocracy and freedom.
We demand that our ancestral dialects be taught, not just English for the invader. We want the truth about the events of the past, such as the fateful night of December 1989. We long to materialize an ideal of a better society, a decent and own housing. We want to see the literature of recognized writers and for the enthusiasm of young people for a just and equitable society to be recognized. Without a collective ideal, there is no true progress, and we continue to fight for a better tomorrow.
