Swab case goes to court

The Public Ministry of Panama is trying to bring to trial a case related to swabs. Although the hearing was scheduled, a court decided to postpone it, thus delaying the judicial process.

Swab case goes to court

The Ministry of Public Prosecution attempted to bring this case to court last year, but the court postponed the hearing. The essence of the case is related to the falsification of COVID-19 test results at one of the medical centers. As a result, dozens of patients received false negative test results, which could lead to serious consequences. Investigations established that employees of the medical institution falsified the test results, getting paid for it from some patients. The victims of this medical fraud decided to seek justice through the courts. Many of them express hope that justice will prevail and those responsible will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
