On the morning of this Saturday, December 6, two people were wounded in the Alto de Los Lagos community, in the corregimiento of Cristóbal Este, in the province of Colón, as a result of the violence that continues unabated in this part of the country. So far this year, 103 people have lost their lives due to this social situation affecting many families in Colón, leaving much pain and mourning. Preliminary information about this violent case indicates that several firearm impacts were heard on one of the streets in this populous community. Afterwards, two injured people were observed and were transferred to the new emergency room of Dr. Manuel Amador Guerrero Hospital, a few minutes from this population. The National Police arrived at the scene of the incident to conduct an initial investigation into this violent event.
