The National Police, in coordination with the Public Ministry, continues its actions against international drug trafficking through Operation Odysseus II, which was carried out in a port on the Pacific Ocean. During the operation, 399 packages with suspected drugs were seized from a container. According to preliminary investigations, the container was traceable from Belgium, with a transshipment in Panama and final destination Australia. The discovery came after intelligence work, profiling, and cargo verification, which allowed authorities to detect irregularities and proceed with the corresponding inspection. The National Police reiterates its commitment to strengthening security in ports and maintaining joint actions to prevent international drug trafficking.
