A 25-year-old man known as “Bubu” was brought to a hearing at the Colón province guarantees court, where he was ordered to be provisionally detained for the crime of attempted homicide by shooting against two people in the Cativá district, which occurred on December 17 of last year. This person is allegedly linked to an incident when he was traveling in a selective transport to the Martin Luther King urbanization, and with a firearm, he fired several shots at two people who were on the main road. On that date, in this community, two people were injured by gunfire: a 28-year-old man who was shot in the chest, and another, 45 years old, with an impact on the right side. At that moment, it was necessary to take them to the Social Security emergency system to be treated. The investigations continued, and finally, on January 28, he was apprehended in Cativá when he was wanted for the crime against life and personal integrity. This case is handled by the Specialized Homicide and Femicide Section of the Regional Prosecutor's Office of Colón and Guna Yala. During the hearing, the Regional Prosecutor's Office of Colón and Guna Yala had previously requested the guarantees court to legalize the apprehension and formulate the charges against this citizen, requests that were admitted.
