Panama's National Police conducted the 'Firm Plan' operation, arresting 197 people and seizing weapons, drugs, and large sums of money.

Within the framework of the 'Firm Plan', the National Police apprehended 197 people in the last 24 hours. Of these, 133 were arrested by warrant, 52 for administrative offenses, nine in flagrante delicto, and three for micro-trafficking. 58 search warrants were executed, a vehicle reported stolen was recovered, three firearms, 44 ammunition, 24 drug packages, and a sum of $35,860 in cash were seized. They also confiscated 79 reed pipes, one bag, and 96 small packets with presumed cocaine, as well as another bag with presumed marijuana. In terms of traffic, 1,073 tickets were issued for various violations, with highlights being 117 for speeding, 109 for improper lights, 14 for expired licenses, 13 for proven drunkenness, and 10 for talking on a cell phone.
