As part of the 'Firmness Plan', the National Police of Panama apprehended 248 people in the last 24 hours. Of these, 154 were for professional reasons, 65 for administrative offenses, 11 for micro-trafficking, and 18 caught in the act. 82 searches were conducted, during which six firearms and 153 cartridges were seized. Additionally, three vehicles were recovered. 789 fines were issued, with 96 for speeding, 52 for improper use of lights, nine for proven drunkenness, 11 for expired licenses, 21 for using a cell phone while driving, and one for alcohol breath test. 52 vehicles were towed for various reasons. During this period, 127 traffic accidents were recorded, resulting in 20 injured and one fatal victim in West Panama.
