Panama - A total of 114.72 packages of alleged cocaine were located and seized at the Comprehensive Security Post of Agua Fría. The drugs were hidden among five parcel sacks being transported on a bus traveling the Darién–Panama route. During a routine inspection by units of the Narcotics Directorate of the National Border Service (Senafront), a detector tested positive in the parcel area where sacks of mortar, coffee packages, bread flour, and 3D printer resin were located. The vehicle was detained as part of the actions of Operation 'Steel Shield Phase 3'. After coordination between border officials and the Darién Drugs Prosecutor's Office, the hidden drug stash concealed among the parcels was detected. Upon completion of the procedure, all evidence was sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences for analysis to determine the type of illicit substance, while the Darién Drugs Prosecutor's Office advances the investigation of the case.
