Schools must register enrollment, school transfers, and updates to academic data. The director of Ifarhu, Carlos Godoy, warned that if students do not appear in the system, they will not be able to receive the benefit. The Institute for the Training and Utilization of Human Resources (Ifarhu) reiterated the importance of validating enrollment in educational centers to guarantee the first payment of the PASE-U 2026 program, a process that directly involves schools and the Ministry of Education (Meduca). The institution explained that validation is not carried out by the student, but by educational centers (public and private) in coordination with Ifarhu and Meduca. Ifarhu urged guardians to verify with schools that enrollment is correctly registered to avoid delays or loss of the benefit. It is estimated that more than 60,000 students could be affected if the information is not updated. To withdraw the payment, guardians must present the student's valid ID card and the guardian's ID card. Godoy held meetings with provincial directors of Meduca in Herrera and Los Santos to expedite the process and reduce inconsistencies. This mainly occurs when the school does not register the enrollment or does not update transfers between schools. In case of a school change for the 2025 period, guardians must ensure that the previous school registers the exit and the new one validates the entry. Otherwise, the student will not be included in the database and the PASE-U check will not be issued.
Ifarhu warns of the importance of validating enrollment for PASE-U benefit
Ifarhu reminded of the need to validate enrollment in schools to receive the first payment of the PASE-U 2026 program. Without this, over 60,000 students may not receive the benefit.
