Mulino Rejects Inclusion of Panama in Blacklist

President José Mulino announced that he will give instructions to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to formalize Panama's response to its inclusion on a gray list by the Netherlands. Mulino strongly rejected this decision, emphasizing that Panama will continue to actively participate in international organizations. In his statements, the president expressed: "I will give instructions to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to formalize it as it should. Meanwhile, their companies will not be able to participate in any public events or contracts."

This measure taken by the Netherlands has generated controversy in Panama, as it affects companies in the country and their participation in public events and contracts. Mulino was firm in his stance and assured that necessary actions will be taken to reverse this situation. The Panamanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be responsible for carrying out the necessary management to address this issue diplomatically.

Additionally, President Mulino stressed the importance of maintaining Panama's reputation at the international level and not allowing unilateral decisions to interfere with the country's development. Despite this inclusion on the gray list by the Netherlands, Panama will continue to work to strengthen its international ties and actively participate in the international community.
