Copa Airlines launched a new version of 'Sube la Marea Remix' on Wednesday, performed by the legendary Rubén Blades and a roster of Panamanian artists. The music video, filmed in iconic locations across Panama, showcases the country's rich culture and natural beauty. The song has become the anthem for the 'Marea Roja' (Red Tide), the national team's fan base, for their second-ever World Cup appearance. Each artist was recorded at iconic locations such as the Panama Canal, Portobelo, the Biomuseo, Casco Antiguo, beaches, Gamboa, and Los Cajones de Chame, showcasing the nation's cultural and natural wealth. The single is now available on all digital platforms and is set to be the soundtrack for the 'Marea Roja' during the World Cup, encouraging Panama to sing loud and strong with their hearts in every game. The airline's marketing director, Marco Ocando, explained that the song was designed to connect more deeply with fans, showcasing what Panama is all about through music, audiovisuals, and local talent. This new version is more Panamanian and tropical, blending the cultures, sounds, and rhythms of the region. Participating artists included Omar Alfanno, Erika Ender, Sech, Boza, Nando Boom, Idania Dowman, Ingrid De Ycaza, Osvaldo Ayala, Alejandro Torres, Samy and Sandra Sandoval, Kako and Doralis, as well as bands like Los Rabanes, Los Beachers, and La Súper Banda de Colón. The producing duo, Los Gaitanes, commented that the song transmits the pride of being Panamanian and the feeling of the fanbase in every match.
