On Wednesday, a 17-year-old teenager was shot in the left ear during a violent incident in the city of Colón. According to reports, the rear window of the taxi showed signs of bullet impacts. The teenager was assisted and taken to the emergency room of Dr. Manuel Amador Guerrero Hospital, where he was treated by the on-duty physicians. National Police agents also arrived at the scene, initiating preliminary investigations to gather information about this violent event recorded on the Atlantic Coast. The incident occurred on 8th Street, Herrera Avenue, when an armed individual spotted a taxi and began firing several shots. Amid the gunfire, one of the projectiles hit the minor, causing an injury to his ear. Following the attack, the armed individual fled the scene, leaving the scene of violence in the sector.
