Work is focused on the pedestrian walkway area connecting to the Grand Transportation Terminal, a high-traffic zone. According to the system administration, once the station reopens, operations will continue normally without affecting passenger safety. The rest of the network will see no changes throughout the day. The Line 1 service of the Panama Metro will continue to operate from 7:00 a.m. in both directions, from the 5 de Mayo station to Villa Zaita, without interruptions. Amid these works, passengers are urged to take precautions if they plan to travel through the Albrook area in the morning.
The station will open at 12:00 p.m. due to construction work as part of the system's integration. This measure is part of the second phase of lifting the new roof structure that will connect the Panama Metro Line 1 and Panama Metro Line 3. The Albrook station of the Panama Metro will not begin operations at its usual time this Sunday, March 22.
