A shooting incident this Sunday in the Ciudad Radial area, Juan Díaz district, resulted in one death and at least seven injuries. The victim has been identified as Jesús Alemán, a former candidate for the Juan Díaz district representative. Alemán was at a soccer field when the shooting occurred. Preliminary reports indicate he received approximately seven shots. According to police sources, individuals exited a vehicle and began firing at the group present at the location. Seven people were injured in the shooting and have been transported to medical centers. A police operation has been launched in the area to apprehend those responsible for the incident. "Receiving the sad news of a shooting in a league, with at least one dead and several injured. My condolences to his family and friends," reacted former President of the Panameñista Party, José Isabel Blandón, on social media. Alemán was also a professional boxing judge for national and international events.
