Eddy Lover Accuses Bolivian Promoter of Canceling Show

Panamanian artist Eddy Lover has arrived in Panama, accusing Bolivian promoter Show Yan Producciones of breaching their contract and canceling his show in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The artist's manager claims the promoter failed to meet technical requirements and lineup agreements, forcing Eddy Lover to apologize to fans. The promoter is reportedly liable for a $15,000 penalty.

Panamanian artist Eddy Lover and his manager René Araúz are already in Panama. Upon their arrival at Tocumen International Airport, they stated that it was Show Yan Producciones that breached the contract, preventing the artist from performing as scheduled on November 20th in Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia). They also believe there was an attempt at extortion to damage their reputation.

Araúz commented that the promoter failed to respect the lineup order. Eddy Lover was supposed to open the show, and the technical rider—a document detailing the artist's requirements for their performance—was not met. Consequently, the Panamanian artist recorded a video at the venue, apologizing to the audience for the cancellation.

In this regard, according to the manager, the promoter is accepting the penalty for contract breach, the well-known $15,000. The artist will continue his tour with two more shows in Cochabamba and La Paz, which were a "success," said Araúz.
