Panama - Mr. Gilberto Lezcano Caballero, 83, died after being attacked by a swarm of Africanized bees in Gariché, corregimiento of Aserío, in the district of Bugaba, in the province of Chiriquí. A 67-year-old man, who was doing agricultural work on Mr. Lezcano's farm, confirmed that they had both gone out in the morning of the previous day to do some work on the property. As he was busy, he lost sight of him, and upon noticing his absence, he began to look for him until he found him lying on the ground. Immediately, the collaborator called the paramedics of the Unified Medical Emergency System, but it was all in vain, as the victim had already died.
