Panama, November 26, 2025 — The Ombudsman's Office has dismissed a public official linked to a drug shipment. This decision was based on document FD-AP-01-7320, sent in the afternoon by the Superior Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Drug-Related Crimes, as part of the “Safe End of Year 2025” operation. The institution reiterates that it will not tolerate conduct that violates the law or compromises public trust, and will continue to strengthen its internal control mechanisms to ensure an integral, responsible, and public service at the service of the population.
