The political collective, with 65 years of history in Panama, stated that this date represents a day of remembrance and reflection on the struggles that women have undertaken over time for equal rights, better working conditions, and participation in democratic life. In the communiqué, the party indicated that for decades it has promoted principles related to human dignity, social justice, and equal opportunities, highlighting that women have been protagonists in various spheres of society, from the family sphere to community and political leadership. The organization also reiterated its commitment to supporting public policies that promote women's participation in decision-making spaces, as well as fostering conditions that guarantee security, respect for their rights, and opportunities in the labor, social, and political spheres. Finally, the Popular Party stated that Panama requires the leadership, capacity, and commitment of women to continue advancing as a society.
