Popular Party Greets Women on Their Day

On International Women's Day, the Popular Party honors Panamanian women, emphasizing their crucial role in nation-building and the necessity of their leadership for achieving true equality and development.

Popular Party Greets Women on Their Day

We reaffirm our commitment to promoting public policies that encourage the full participation of women in all decision-making spaces, guarantee their safety, protect their rights, and ensure real equality of opportunities in the labor, social, and political spheres.

Today, we honor the women who came before us and paved the way; we accompany those who lead today with firmness and vision; and we firmly believe in the new generations who will continue to transform Panama with talent and a vocation for service.

As a party with deep humanistic and democratic roots, we reiterate that authentic development cannot exist without the full recognition of the value and capacity of women.

Panama needs their leadership, their ethics, and their commitment to continue moving forward.

On this March 8, we raise our voices to say: equality is not a distant aspiration, it is a present responsibility.

Happy International Women's Day!

The entry 'Popular Party greets women on their day' was first published in La Verdad Panamá.

Thanks to these struggles and contributions, today our societies are more just, more humane, and more aware of the inherent dignity of each person.

For more than six decades, our collective has defended the values of human dignity, social justice, and equal opportunities.

Their contribution has been decisive in strengthening our democracy and consolidating a more just and supportive country.

The Popular Party recognizes that the fight for equity is not a fleeting slogan, but a permanent commitment.

In the framework of International Women's Day, the Popular Party, with 65 years of political life at the service of the Republic of Panama, pays tribute to all Panamanian women who, with courage, intelligence, sensitivity, and determination, have been a fundamental pillar in the construction of our Nation.

March 8 is not a date of simple remembrance, but a day of historical reflection that honors the firm and brave struggle of women who, over time, have raised their voices for justice, equal rights, decent working conditions, and full participation in the democratic life of their countries.

In this historical journey, woman has occupied an essential place: as a mother, professional, entrepreneur, worker, community leader, and political leader.
